What styles do you specialise in?

How do I book an appointment?
You can book an appointment by filling out the contact form on this website or by sending me a direct message on Instagram. Please include details about your design idea, preferred size, and placement. I'll get back to you within 24-48 hours to discuss availability and next steps.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, a non-refundable deposit (50% of the total cost) is required to secure your appointment. Cancellations forfeit the deposit. If you reschedule with at least two weeks' notice, your deposit transfers to your new date. The deposit goes towards the final cost of your tattoo.
How much do tattoos cost?
I typically book half-day (3 hours) or full-day sessions to give your tattoo the time and attention it deserves. Half-day is my minimum, but smaller pieces are available on request—price varies by design. A deposit holds your date. Learn more about my tattoo services.
What kind of inks do you use?
I use professional-grade inks that have passed European safety standards and are supplied from reputable tattoo industry suppliers. Brands I regularly use include Dynamic, Eternal, and World Famous.
Do you do cover-ups?
Yes, I do cover-ups. Cover-ups require careful planning and design work to ensure the old tattoo is properly concealed. Please send me clear photos via the contact form, and we can discuss options for transforming it into something you'll love.
What's your cancellation policy?
Deposits are non-refundable—if you cancel, you lose your deposit. However, if you reschedule with at least two weeks' notice, your deposit transfers to your new appointment (up to a maximum of three reschedules). Less than two weeks' notice means losing your deposit and paying a new one to rebook.
How old do I need to be to get a tattoo?
You must be 18 years or older to get a tattoo. I will need to see valid photo ID (passport or driving licence) before your appointment. No exceptions, even with parental consent.
Can I bring a friend to my appointment?
While I understand wanting support, I generally prefer to keep sessions one-on-one to maintain focus and create the best possible tattoo. However, if you feel more comfortable with a trusted friend present, please let me know in advance and limit it to one person. See studio location and directions.
How do I care for my new tattoo?
I provide detailed aftercare instructions after your session. Generally: keep it clean and moisturised, avoid swimming or soaking for 2-3 weeks and avoid direct sunlight. Visit my tattoos page for full aftercare guidance and recommended products.
Do you do custom designs?
Yes, I specialise in custom tattoo designs tailored to your vision. Share your ideas, reference images, and any specific elements you want included, and I'll work with you to create a unique piece that's perfect for you.
Where are you based?
I work at Cavalry Tattoo Studio in Norwich, Norfolk. The studio is located at 13 Bank Plain, Norwich NR2 4SF, in the heart of the city centre and easily accessible by public transport or car. Get directions and parking info.
Do you offer pet portraits?
Yes! In addition to tattoos, I create beautiful hand-drawn pet portraits using pastel pencils. These make perfect gifts or memorial pieces, with nationwide delivery across the UK.

PRICING

I charge a minimum of a half day (3 hours) which is £250, with an additional cost of £80 per extra hour.

A full day of 6 hours (which includes half hour for a lunch break) is £450.

Out of hours work is available for fast-track bookings on request
