Some clients know exactly what they want. Others have a feeling, a person they want to remember or a collection of references that do not quite fit together yet. Both are good places to begin. I will listen, ask the useful questions and draw something that works with your body as well as your idea.

Portraits, animals, nature and larger compositions built with careful contrast and enough breathing room to age well. I want the fine detail to draw you in without losing the strength of the whole piece.

Memorial and story-led tattoos

A memorial piece can hold a portrait, handwriting, a place, a flower or a small detail that means everything to one family. We will find the right symbols and give the design the time and care it deserves.

From first message to healed tattoo.

The process is relaxed and straightforward. I will tell you what I need, explain the decisions and make sure you know what to expect before appointment day.

  1. STEP 01

    Share the idea

    Send the story behind the tattoo, a rough size, placement and any useful references. It is fine if parts of the idea are still open.

  2. STEP 02

    Shape the design

    We will talk through composition, detail, placement and what will hold up well over time. Once the direction feels right, your deposit secures the appointment.

  3. STEP 03

    Tattoo day

    We check the final size and placement together before we begin. The session is paced calmly, with breaks whenever you need them.

  4. STEP 04

    Heal it well

    You will leave with clear aftercare guidance and can get in touch if anything feels uncertain while the tattoo settles.

A calm city-centre studio, with support after you leave.

Appointments take place at Cavalry Tattoo Studio, 13 Bank Plain, Norwich NR2 4SF. The space is friendly, professional and air-conditioned, with time to settle in before we start.

I will talk you through aftercare at the end of the session and give you something clear to follow at home. If you are unsure how the tattoo is healing, send a photograph and ask.
